EXPECTATIONS  So much has been happening here at Wellsmere Collies!

Galahad and Glory are expecting October 6th.  All pups will be non-carriers of CEA/PRA/HUU/DM and MDR1 +/+.  Colors will be blue and tri.

Galahad (a very busy boy) and Honeybelle are expecting 10/16.  All pups will be non-carriers of CEA/PRA/HUU/DM and MDR1 +/-.   It will be a rainbow litter of blue, tri, sable and sable merle pups.

WARNINGS!!!!!!!  (Unfortunately worth repeating)

I continue to hear about neurological issues with NEXGARD and BRAVECTO in collies and other breeds.  The FDA has not recalled the products but has issued a warning!  Please do not use either.  As collie owners, we know that collies metabolize some drugs differently.  When in doubt, stick with the tried and true medicines!

The outbreak of Salmonella due to contaminated pig ear dog treats has now been expanded.  The U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) is expanding its investigation.
